Through these bilingual geocaches, the CÉCS showcases Saskatchewan’s francophone regions and their heritage. 

The CÉCS has educational tools to support community organizations that would like to organize recreational activities around active geocaches in their regions. Please do not hesitate to contact the CÉCS Economic Development Advisors (EDA) for more details. 

The 150th anniversary of Canada was an occasion to enhance the geocaching bank. The initiative “Discover our communities with Canada’s 150th!” allowed the CÉCS to promote Saskatchewan Francophone  attractions  using geocaching.  

Throughout the year, several activities helped showcasing these resources, including a competition to promote geocaches, training workshops on geocaching, and the organization of a clean-up activity at two geocache sites.
