Community economic development (CED) is at the heart of the work of the Conseil  économique et coopératif de la Saskatchewan (CÉCS).

The CÉCS participates in implementing  large-scale projects in Saskatchewan in close collaboration with the Official Language Minority Communities (OLMCs) consisting of all Francophone communities in Saskatchewan, and any non-profit organization whose chosen official working language is French.

OLMCs benefit from a variety of support services. They aim to strengthen their capacities but also to develop and carry out projects.

These services include, among others:

  • Setting up CED projects
  • Preparation of funding requests
  • Reading and understanding financial statements
  • Budgeting
  • Diversification of funding sources
  • Financial diagnosis

Do not hesitate to make an appointment with a CÉCS Economic Development Advisor (EDA) near you to benefit from these services.
