Who We Are

Since 1947, the Conseil économique et coopératif de la Saskatchewan (CÉCS) has been responsible for the economic development of francophone communities in the province and its spokesperson for economic development.

The CÉCS offers a range of programs and services that meet Francophone communities’ needs and challenges. The CÉCS has three offices in Saskatchewan: Bellevue, Regina and Saskatoon.

Thanks to its proactive approach, the CÉCS holds a prominent place in the Francophone economic arena and has aroused other stakeholders’ interest in the economic community at the provincial, national, and international levels.

The following values guide the CÉCS:

  • Collective responsibility

  • Communication
  • Skill
  • Quality

CÉCS programs and services revolve around three axes:

ENTREPRENEURSHIP

To stimulate the creation, development, and expansion of Francophone businesses in Saskatchewan.

COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

To encourage individuals, businesses, and communities to take advantage of the economic potential of their region.

CAPACITY BUILDING
