Tourism
With its “living” skies, Saskatchewan has views that will captivate anyone who sees them! Its unusual geography makes it a perfect destination for nature lovers. From the boreal forest to the endless wheat fields, the desert landscape of the Great Sand Hills, and the semi-arid prairie of the Badlands, it is rich in hidden treasures.
The Conseil économique et coopératif de la Saskatchewan (CÉCS) can provide support to businesses in this sector and to Francophone communities wishing to develop a tourist project.
The CÉCS is also involved in the tourist sector through its participation in a variety of provincial and regional projects. Over the years, it has published driving tours and travel guides in French and it has participated in the Canada Ouest en français App (together with British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba).
Recent projects in the tourist sector include: the publication of the 2019-2020 edition of the visitor guide La Saskatchewan et ses attraits, the establishment of an economusée plan, the Fransaskois geocaching project, and the Bienvenue! decal program.
