The Connector Program is a simple yet highly effective immigrant retention program that connects local businesses and organizations in Canada with skilled immigrants and/or new grads/international students. Since its (re)launching in Saskatchewan with the CÉCS in May 2017, the Connector Program has registered more than 80 Connectees in different fields, ranging from: IT engineers, mining engineers, construction & manufacturing engineers to specialists in sales and marketing (highly skilled and educated candidates), etc.
The program has seen a strong engagement of 50+ local professionals from different companies and organizations involved as Connectors in their respective fields.
We have been able and we continue to develop strong partnerships with NGO such as: Regina Open Door Society (RODS), Saskatoon Open Door Society (SODS), International Women of Saskatoon (IWS), Junior Achievement (JA) and all Francophone community-based organizations in Saskatchewan (both regional and provincial). We also have partnerships with institutions such as: City of Saskatoon, City of Regina, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon Polytech, University of Regina, Praxis School of Entrepreneurship, BizAcademi, Saskatoon-Regina-Prince Albert Chambers of Commerce, SREDA, etc. The Connector Program is also working hand in hand with many established businesses in different fields.
If you are an employer looking for qualified employees, or if you are interested in becoming a Connector or Connectee, please do not hesitate to contact us!
