The Conseil économique et coopératif de la Saskatchewan (CÉCS) is proposing a province-wide project to promote  Économusées in various regions of the province. It results from an agreement with the Économusée Network Society. The artisans of Saskatchewan worked closely with the CÉCS on this project. 

The Économusées project initially focused on identifying and selecting artisans’ workshops that could become an Économusée. Over the Hill Orchards and Winery was Saskatchewan's first  Économusée to be launched in September, 2019.
